APPOINTMENT
Émilie Delorme, director of the Académie, the enoa and Medinea networks and the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, has just been appointed director of the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris.
We congratulate her wholeheartedly for this prestigious appointment and wish her much success in her new position.
Émilie Delorme brought to the Festival her immense energy, creativity, high standards, openness to world cultures, and capacity to organize productive conferences and discussions between great talents and among different creative players—of both today and tomorrow—in the areas of music and the stage. During her 11 years of extraordinary work at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, she earned the trust of her teams, Festival management, patrons, and national and local institutions. Her ability to pass along knowledge and to bring together great talent, as well as her passion for training young professionals, will be an invaluable asset for the CNSMD, where she will find new opportunities to reaffirm her commitment to the art and artists of tomorrow.
