2016 Symphonic Session

Symphonic Orchestra training session open to instrumentalists coming from higher music institutes, schools and conservatories of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region and the Mediterranean countries.

The Mediterranean Youth Orchestra is appointed to organise symphonic orchestra training sessions designed to young future professional musicians from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region and the Mediterranean willing to have a professional experience of orchestral life in rehearsals, concert and on tour.
Today, the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra follows, within the Académie of the Festival d'Aix, the development of its assignment in training, professional integration, exchange and cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Young musicians hired for the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra's training session benefit from a coaching by professional orchestral musicians and work on the repertoire's symphonic masterpieces under the baton of prestigious conductors.
