For those ensembles on the cusp, or outset, of a professional career, the Festival d’Aix represents a fertile ground to nurture the emergence of wonderful musical encounters, as well as providing an essential showcase in the current music scene. Aside from exploring classical repertoires and contemporary music with current musicians and composers, these residencies are the opportunity to infuse these artists with a taste for transmission, innovation and mediation and interaction with all kinds of audiences.
